Fluxguide is the next generation of technology based guiding for cultural exhibitions and museums. It offers fully capable multi-media guiding enriched with new communicative, participative, and personalized features for visitors „on the spot“. Unlike with usual Audioguides, visitors not only receive information but also generate and share content, comments, or favorite lists. Due to the open structure of the Fluxguide-solution, visitors may use tablets or their own smartphones instead of handed out devices.

information: visitors receive curated background knowledge about exhibits and artists (in an audio guided way, but also as text and/or video)
participation: visitors use their Fluxguides during their tour to comment, and to rate exhibits. These Web 2.0 inspired features enable people to actively focus on artworks, to construct meaning, and to share interpretations. personalization: generated visitor-input is used to automatically generate personal favorite list which is sent via E-Mail and contains details about those exhibits s/he was interested in. This unveils new after-sales opportunities and a new channel to customers. The visitor keeps a permanent & personalized memory of the visit. |
