With the help of Fluxguide, 2 Swedes want to stir up the tourism industry in Stockholm. But first take a look at this beautiful panorama of the Swedish capital.
From May 2020, a hop-on hop-off tourist train will travel through Stockholm and we are glad to create the appropriate app. Right now we’re working on the design. Since both, the official website and the associated marketing strategies are still under construction, we are relatively at the beginning. But we can already reveal a few things:
- The train takes you through the eastern district of Djurgården – translated zoo. Unofficially, this part of Stockholm – which has nothing to do with a zoo – can also be called a museum island, since many museums (Nordic Museum, Vasa Museum, Spritmuseum, Abba the Museum, etc.) are located here.
- The starting point of the train is the Nordic Museum. Departure time is once an hour and the train leads you in approx. 52 minutes around the island.
- The app provides you with information on the selected sights along the designated route.
- Hop-on and hop-off at the 11 stations is possible at any time and thanks to GPS, the appropriate content (texts, audios, images, videos) of the sights is always displayed at the right time. Missing important sights? Never again!
Now it’s time to get back to work, because the app does not program itself 😉
