With our Vdonaukanal app, walks in Vienna become an interactive art experience: an integrated map shows the locations of the works – so-called AR hotspots.
In the 1st edition (April 2024), 15 digital works of art can be explored along the Vienna Danube Canal. If you want, you can also view them from home: The AR Player transforms every living room into a digital gallery.

The app continues to grow – new editions
In May 2025, /ONTOLOGICAL_GLITCH:// was released in cooperation with Vienna Digital Cultures, the second edition of Vdonaukanal with new interactive artworks around the Kunsthalle Wien on Karlsplatz. The app is constantly being expanded to offer new digital art experiences in urban spaces.
